Camping pictures.....

So here are the promised pictures from the camping trip this past weekend. I have to be quick because both girls are here at home sick today and they keep yelling for something or another to make them feel better. Right now, I'm in between water and cracker runs to the kitchen. :) Nothing big, they are both just running fever. Grace's is almost gone and Sus's is still a tad high...I think it should be through the 24 hour cycle soon so that we can go off to our fun trip to Lake Texoma tomorrow with our church friends. I'm really excited and it should be so much fun, just hanging out with our friends for the weekend and enjoying the weather.

Susie had to get in on the rock climbing action...she didn't get much higher than this picture. On the way back from the hike, there was a snake right near these rocks, which makes me glad that she didn't get much higher. Who knows where that snake was hiding!!

We were just walking along the trail and then all the sudden ,we noticed this buffalo all by itself, just eating! They are NOT small animals, by any means! You can tell by the head of the little boy in the picture how close we really were to the buffalo!

We walked on this trail/road for almost 4 hours before we got back to camp...it was the hike from Hades, in my opinion...the kids all just walked right by a rattlesnake (they didn't see it, an adult did and got them out of the creek) and endured many miles of hiking before we all turned around because we figured out that we were not on the right trail. You win some, you lose some. At least we had a great time!
