End of year review....

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
I really can't think of anything...oh, we went to the SEC championship football game in Atlanta. I would love to go back if the Vols or the Razorbacks make it that far again.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
We moved into a new town and a new house so I wanted to have everything unpacked in 2 weeks and I did it in less than 10 days!! I also resolved to loose all my baby weight from Parker in 2007 and lost every pound and a few more. It makes a difference when you get on a good workout schedule and have a fun workout partner....let's get back to the gym soon, Jill!!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I have had lots of friends this year....after all, my baby (so to speak) is only 18 months old!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one in our immediate family.

5. What countries did you visit?
Not with 3 kids, no way!

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
I have NO idea! I would like to have more visits from family and friends....we love company!!

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Jan. 2007, We moved to Ft. Worth and Grace started a new school and we have a great church family!
May 2007, Aaron came home from being in Houston for 2 months. We missed him soo much!
June 2007, Parker turned one and we had a house full of company!
August 2007, The whole family flew to Seattle to see Aaron's parents. We had a great visit and took the kids camping and hiking.
October 2007, Give away day at our church. So many people were helped and it felt great helping them!
In general, I loved 2007....we have made great friends and have a wonderful church family, all in one year! Great blessings all around!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Putting together Aaron's surprise birthday trip to Atlanta without him knowing and Grace not telling!! Aaron says that I change more diapers than anyone, but I so know that is NOT true....I'm just trying to raise sweet babies.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Failure? YIKES...I really don't like that word....I don't like it that I haven't reached out more to newer families at our church, but with teaching the 5&6 grade class I just don't feel like I am always in the loop with the new people. I'm going to make it a point to do better this next year. It is never fun to be the new person.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Aaron bought me a Tassimo coffee machine system and I LOVE it! I use it everyday!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Grace! She read all of the Battle of the Books lists and made the team!!! The Competition is in one month, can't wait!! Grace also memorized all of her memory verses and recited them with the rest of her class in front of the church family. They all did so great.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Wal-Mart, doesn't everyones? Well and just general moving expenses

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Grace making her Battle of the books team, Parker walking, our family trips, Susannah starting school and Christmas.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
I have no idea....Probably the High School Musical 2 Soundtrack....I know every word and so do my girls. Isn't that just crazy?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
a) happier b) much thinner c) a little richer-I'm always richer with my sweet family around.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sleeping! But we are getting better...Parker and the girls all sleep though the night and it is WONDERFUL!
I wish we could have more people over to get to know them better. When we start our small groups at church (Next week!) that will change for sure!!!!

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Complaining, griping...I'm trying to get better, I promise!!

20. How did you spend Christmas?
At my parent's house in Arkansas, we are driving home tomorrow after church.

21. What was your favorite TV program?
Heros

24. Do you dislike anyone now that you didn’t dislike this time last year?
Nope

25. What was the best book you read?
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows (I didn't get to read much this year....It took me forever to even finish this one....when you are the mom of three, you fall asleep when your head hits the pillow!)

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
My greatest? Aaron is really good at the guitar and the kids love to dance when he plays, that is about it!

27. What did you want and get?
My Tassimo!

28. What did you want and not get?
A new pair of brown boots. Don't worry, I'm going shopping with Jill when we get home...those boots are mine!!

Christmas 2007 Pictures

Every year, the kids (even when we were little) would sit on the top landing on the top of the stairs while the parents go down and make sure that everything was okay. Really, we are just getting the video camera and still cameras ready to take pictures! This year, I was the person that sat at the top with the kids...all in our matching jammies.


My brother, Jeremy, is holding Parker and his son Jonas. They are the sweet babies of the family and are so cute!

The big Christmas Day

We love Christmas at Nana and Papa's house...they go all out and it's fun for everyone. Christmas Eve the kids make cookies for Santa with Nana, watch a Christmas movie and then Papa read them, "The Night Before Christmas." They were so excited to get to sleep that I hardly had to tell them to go to bed and they were up the stairs. After the kids were fast asleep, the work began....We stuffed all the stockings and got all the Santa gifts out and ready for the morning. Then we ate the Santa cookies and drank the milk while we were waiting on Jess and Cliff to drive down from their Christmas with Cliff's family in Kennett, MO. They pulled in around midnight and we helped Jess wrap all of her loot for the kids and just all sat around and played until 2:30...it was great. Oh and we had to hide our newest Christmas tradition, "Elf on a Shelf" because in the story, he flies back to Santa on Christmas Eve!!

The kids got up nice and early (of course) on Christmas morning and all of us adults were still wanting to sleep....at least the kids slept until 9 and that is pretty late for my kids! They ran down and were so excited to see that Santa brought the girls new dolls and Parker a music set with a drum and lots of other loud instruments. Grace had wanted an American Girl Doll
for Christmas but we were not ready to drop over $100 for a doll that she may or may not play with after all of the other gifts have been opened. So, we went shopping at Toys R'us a few weeks before Christmas and she found found this Madame Alexander 18" doll with red hair....and it was on sale for $24.99.....and she fell in love with this new one and totally forgot about the expensive American Girl doll. Not that we wouldn't have bought her the American Girl doll, but you know little kids and if they are like my kids, they really want something and then when they do get it somehow it gets played with for about 2 days and then it gets thrown in the doll ben. Now Grace and Sus have 2 beautiful dolls that they love and they got a few more gifts, too!!

Aunt Jess gets the prize for giving the coolest gifts this year...the kids all got these cool new Crocs and Grace also got some UGG slippers that one of the shoe buyers at work gave to Jess. She also found 2 collie Webkinz for the girls that I have looked everywhere for Christmas gifts and could not find in our part of Texas! So the girls came out like bandits in the webkinz game...I don't know how they came up with names for them all, but they did!

Hope that ya'll had a great Christmas with all of your families. I know that we are having a blast around here playing all of the kids boardgames and of course, Aaron's Christmas gift, Guitar Hero 3!! We are now all rock stars!! I'll post some pictures later, for now, I'm off to play some Operation with my girls and sweet hubby and to enjoy some Barbs's bar-b-que!!!

We should be asleep

We are here in Searcy. Having fun with family, eating WAY too much and laughing at funny christmas movies. Right now, I'm sitting in Mom and Dad's living room, with Mom and Dad....we should be all upstairs asleep. Yah right, Christmas Vacation is on TV and we are up watching it, of course. Mom and Dad love this movie, okay, okay, so do I. Oh, and if you were wondering where Aaron is, he is in the den playing his x-box that came in right before we left town on Friday afternoon. His x-box died, or should I say, got the red ring of death on Dec. 5 and we mailed it off very shortly after....it turns out that they just sent him a new one. So, he is enjoying his x-box time with his online buddies now while we are laughing out loud at this silly Christmas movie.
Oh, tonight after church Aaron and I went to see "I Am Legend" at the local (gross) movie theater here in Searcy. Oh my word!! I have wanted to see this movie for quite a while, but it WAS NOT what I expected it to be and that is all I'm going to say. It was still a very good movie, it just wasn't what I expected, AT ALL! So, now you need to go and see it and let me know what you think! Hopefully we can go and see the new National Treasure movie on Wednesday night after the kids are in bed while we are still here with our free (and super fun) babysitters!! Maybe next time we can drive to Little Rock so we don't have to see the movie in the stinky, very cold and squeaky seat Searcy movie theater!

Christmas cards and cake

I'm putting off going into the kitchen this morning. I got Grace off to school, Sus is on the couch watching Sesame Street and Parker is still sleeping. I could not find one thing that I wanted for Grace's teacher. Last year, we got her teacher a Jim Shore Santa.

We were moving and I just loved Mrs. Miller, too so we got her something special. Well, the same goes for this years' teacher, Mrs. O'Neal. She is so supportive of Grace and helps her learn on her level. She even brought in some of her daughters old Junie B. Jones books to school because she knew that Grace liked to read them! So, I have been searching for yet another Jim Shore Santa like the one that I fell in one with last year...it says Naughty on one side and when you turn the Santa around it says Nice. Well, because it was last years Santa, no one carries it in their stores....of course, I found one online last night, but that is okay. I'm just going to get her a Sonic giftcard, she loves happy hour, just like we all do around here and I'm going to bake her a sour cream cake. Grace gets out half day so I best get to baking!!

As a former teacher, I used to get some real doozeys as gifts and I also got some gifts that I still have to this day and think fondly of those sweet little ones. Do you have any great (or not so great) gift memories? You know you do!!! Comment on your favorite gift from years past!

That's MY girl!!!

If you don't like to read posts where a mom brags about their child, click off of this page and go to another website now! :) I am so excited about my girl. She worked really hard this summer and read 25 books from the required reading list for Battle of the Books. When the school year started, she took a written test and made the Battle of the Books team at her school. Let me tell you about this team. They have 7 members and 6 of the members of her team are third graders. Did I mention that Grace is in the FIRST grade? Yes, that is MY girl (can you see my chest puffing up?) They will compete with all the other schools in our districts (that is a lot of schools, if you know where we live) at the convention center at the end of January. They have to pretty much memorize these 25 books...cover to cover, words, picture details, you name it, they know it about these books. The team practices every Tues. and Wed. after school for an hour and we parents rotate bringing snacks and being in charge of practice. It's been fun getting to know all of the kids at these meetings and to see Grace interact with all of them.

Last Wednesday, I went to pick up Grace from practice and she has been named the CAPTAIN of the team. Yes, my first grader is now the captain of her school's Battle of the Books Team and she is over all the third graders. I was speechless, and you know that is hard for me! The funny thing is, I don't think that the other kids even know that Grace is a first grader. They are all about the same size and they all get along very well in the practices. When they mentioned voting for a captain a month or so ago, Grace was a little down because she thought there was no way that they would let a new member, much less a first grader be captain. Of course, being the good parent that I am, gave her the "Don't you let ANYONE tell you that you can't do something because of your size or age" Speech. I guess it might have just worked. Not that I'm taking one lick of credit. Grace is a very smart little girl and I'm so thankful that she got most of her daddy's brains!! The team had a secret ballot vote last week and Grace won 6-1. I asked her if she had voted for herself and she said, "I can vote for myself? Now, that isn't very nice!" I am so thankful that she has the confidence to lead this team. It really is an answered prayer. I know she will do great!! You go, Grace. Now that is MY GIRL!!!

Heavy Heart

For the past 9 months or so, our little family has been praying for another member of our family. She isn't blood related, but that hardly matters. Grace Brewer is my other mom. From the time I can remember, we (my brother and I) spent many many days (and nights) at the Brewer house. Rachel and Josh were some of our very best friends growing up and our parents are great friends as well. Miss Grace (as we have always called her) made the very best grilled cheese sandwiches and always cut them into butterflies on our plates. When I have happy childhood memories, Miss Grace, Mr. Rod, Rachel and Josh are usually in those memories as well. I named my first born child after this wonderful woman, after all, she put up with me in a van for umpteen hours on the way to Disney World one summer, and of course, mainly because I love her and respect her.

Miss Grace has cancer. We have been praying so hard for her. Grace and Susannah pray every night for her and if someone forgets to say her name in the prayer, the other one gets mad and makes them re-pray. Cancer just isn't nice. I don't like it, but of all the people to teach us lessons when they are going these times, it would be Miss Grace. She said last night that she felt as close to Jesus as she ever has. I believe that so much. He is sitting right next to her because she is about as close to Jesus as I can imagine a person can be. Here is the e-mail that we got today from Miss Grace's husband, Mr. Rod.


Grace had an MRI on Tuesday. It showed what the CTscan did not.
The lymphomas are active again.
This time, the cancer has attached to/within the spinal column.

One large tumor, at the base of the spine, has caused Grace to lose use of her legs. What we / the doctors thought was neuropathy was, in fact, this tumor disrupting the nerve signals to the legs.

We met with the oncologist Dr. Koch and the radiologist Dr. Payne on Wednesday.
They explained that at this point, we are down to palliative, or comfort, care. With radiation -- scheduled daily for the next 9 days
-- Grace could regain some use of her legs, not have as much pain in her back, and maintain the ability to control her bodily functions.
Grace could have opted out of this treatment, of course, but she hopes to be in as good a shape as possible for Christmas.

Her first treatment was yesterday, and so far she has handled the side-effects all right. Both doctors recommend that, after this radiation, that we contact Hospice. We'll see about that, as time goes by.

After we got home last night, she was in good spirits. She ate well and, after resting a spell, called a couple of friends -- and intends to call some more when she's up to it.

We do not know how quickly this infernal cancer will strike back after the radiation. So the time she has here is still undetermined. In the meantime, we pray for healing and comfort for Grace, daughter of the most high God.

As I learned from the testimony of Kerri, my cousin Lora Lee's daughter, the healing will come, whether in this life or the next.
Grace looks forward to the ultimate healing, at a time deemed appropriate by the Great Physician.

Late last night as we were talking, she said with a smile, that beautiful smile, that she guessed she was closer to Jesus now. I told her that she'd been close to him all her of this life.

She's resting this morning, saving her strength for the trip back to CARTI for radiation at 2:50 today.

Please keep Miss Grace in your prayers. Give her the strength to do what she wants to do right now. Also, all of her great family, because after all, they are my family, too.

And finally...

Santa had just walked in front of me and Parker was watching him through my legs...death grip more like!!

Sunday night....

And to finish out the weekend full of Christmas events, we went to the Christmas service/kids party up at church. It was great!! All of our kids performed some songs. I would post some pics, but the camera is being a little flaky and didn't take any good ones...Here is a super picture of the staff and ministers at our congregation. They did their own rendition of the 12 days of Christmas that had everyone rolling in the isles...I love our church. You will hear it again, don't worry.

After service was over we all went out in the foyer to see that the fellowship committee had fixed dinner for everyone. Did I say how much we love our church? Yes, they are great! Then they made an announcement that Santa was coming via LIMO to the church...the kids all were so excited and ran outside and sang songs until the Big man made his appearance.

Here is our own resident Santa. We love our Santa and Mrs. Claus, they are the best. Thanks for helping our kids to have great Christmas memories. It was a fun evening and no, Parker wouldn't sit in this Santa's lap, either. We should have the pictures back later this week...we had to take a family Christmas picture because Santa wouldn't let go of me or Aaron....

Holiday in the Park

So, on Friday night we went to the Polar Express train in Grapevine. On Saturday, we went and used our Six Flags tickets one last time for 2007 at Holiday in the Park. We went with my college roommate, Stephanie, her hubby Josh and their sweet little girl Kaylie. Susie and Kaylie had a blast together. I'm pretty sure they are going to be great buddies. Holiday in the Park was so pretty. The lights around Six Flags were great, there was just one problem....everyone in DFW decided to go on Saturday!! It was packed. Pretty much like Disney in the summertime...yah, that packed.

We all still had a great time just being together and Aaron was just getting to know them, you know, since Steph and Josh put up with me in college and all...it was fun, but Sunday morning came WAY too early with 3 kids who were out until almost 11 PM!!!

Polar Express pictures....

Here are some pictures from the Polar Express train out of Grapevine. Grace and her friend B sat by themselves on the front row....they were trying to act too cool for some of the stuff, but when Santa came out, they were just as excited as Susie and her friend were to see him!!

Parker was clapping along to the music and a few times he got out in the isle and danced....of course, this is all before he was made to sit in Santa's lap. Oh, and I can't use the pic for our christmas card because it is copyrighted. I know, I shouldn't have even put it on my blog, but I am counting on not one of ya'll to print it off, right???

Susie is in the red robe and our friends the Frosts are in front of them...we all were like kids for the evening and it was so much fun. I really recommend this evening of fun to anyone in the DFW area!

My favorite picture from this year!

We took the kids to The North Pole Express in Grapevine on Friday night. It was so much fun. If you live in the DFW area, I sooo suggest that you take your kids to this at least once. If they have ever read The Polar Express or have seen the movie, they will LOVE every minute! The kids wore their P.J's and we all rode the Polar Express train with some of our friends from church. They loved it and so did we....we sang songs and danced for the whole train ride. When the train pulled back into the station, we went inside and waited to see the Big man himself. Last year, Parker was great for the Christmas picture. He just sat there and smiled. This year he did the death grip on me and did not want me to peel him off to hand him to Santa. Oh the things we do for tradition. Aaron and I were laughing so hard, I almost needed to find a bathroom! I'll post more pictures and stories from the weekend later...just enjoy this picture for now!! Happy Monday!

Downtown Christmas!!

We drove into downtown last night and meet Aaron at his office. We parked the car and walked around the downtown area, which is sooo beautiful this time of year with all the lights and decorations. It was just perfect outside and we enjoyed the evening being together. This is the giant Christmas tree that sits in the middle of Main Street in Downtown Fort Worth. Santa is there on the weekends, but it is packed. We wanted to just be able to enjoy the lights and the evening so we went on a non-Santa day. We may go back before Christmas to see the big man, who knows?

You may notice that Parker looks a little different. I went and got his haircut yesterday while Susie was at school...He has sooo much hair!! He just looks like a big kid now with this hair cut, but I guess since he is 17 months old, he is a big kid! I just keep wanting to call him our baby.

The game

Okay, okay, I know, we lost the game. BUT, we still had a GREAT time in Atlanta with the rest of the Vol nation in tow. We arrived early Saturday morning and just hung out in downtown Atlanta. By the way, don't hang out in downtown Atlanta. It is so sad. On our honeymoon, we took a little tour of fun places in the south and Atlanta was one of them. We did Six Flags, the Wide World of Coke and the Underground Atlanta. 10 years later, 2 of the 3 places we visited were so dumpy and empty. They have shut down the Wide World of Coke and moved it to a different part of Atlanta. The Underground was empty and full of homeless people. It was so sad. We got asked for money from at least 5 different people. Had we known that everything had changed so much, we would have gone to the "newer" part of the tourist district. It just opens your eyes to show you how quickly things change and just how very blessed that we are to even have a home, much less be going to a SEC championship football game.

We still had a great time. We loved going to fan fare at the Georgia World Center. It was huge and FULL of Tennessee fans. Honestly, there were so many more Vols fans there than LSU people. Our tickets were on the second level right above the band in the Tennessee section.

Mom flew in and kept the kids for the weekend and they LOVED seeing their Nana. They didn't even miss us, I think. Parker has started saying some new words this week like, Yes and of course, Nana. We had a great time and Aaron loved his birthday present, even if the Vols didn't win. Next stop is the Cotton Bowl to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks take on Missouri on Jan. 1. Anyone want to go with us?

Aaron's birthday!!

I made Aaron's favorite homemade Chocolate cake and then the kids decorated the cake by themselves....they always love doing that part!
I looked over and Grace was squirting icing into Parker's mouth and he was loving every minute of it, too!! His mouth was green for the next few minutes, but he would stand still long enough for me to take a picture.
They did all the icing themselves (except for the writing, of course)...pretty good little helpers, I think!
For Aaron's birthday, I spent ALL week (and I really mean that) on Ebay looking for tickets to this Saturday's (yes, tomorrow) SEC championship football game. Yes, we are flying out to Atlanta EARLY tomorrow morning to see Tennessee play LSU in the big game!! I'm so excited and Aaron is about the bust!! We will fly back on Sunday morning so it will be a quick, but very fun trip for us both. My mom is flying in tonight to stay with the kids so they will be so happy to see their Nana!!! GOOO VOLS!!

Romo vs. Farve

I have to admit something. I have been a Cowboys fan my whole life. Being from Arkansas, we don't have an NFL team in our state so Texas is about as close as it gets for us. When I was little, the Dallas Cowboy Hoopsters (some of the football players had a little basketball team during the off season that would play for fundraisers or something like that...honestly, I don't remember why they came to Searcy, I was 7 years old) came to to Searcy and played against some men from the Optimist club. My dad was in the club (and on the basketball team) and he got to guard Too Tall Jones during the game....of course, my dad is 6'1" or so and Ed Jones is 6'9"...it was a fun game, though. I got to meet Danny White when I was little, too and that was a complete dream....oh, the quarterback for the Cowboys, WOW!! I was so starstruck.

The point is, I was a Cowboys fan from the beginning. Now, I actually LIVE in Texas, but I really am not that big of a fan anymore. I love the Colts. Probably because of Peyton Manning, but I still love the Colts. We've been to 2 Cowboys games in our one year in this part of Texas. Did we yell for the Cowboys? No, we were there to watch the Colts, but I still like America's Team. I do enjoy watching them play and Tony Romo is getting easier for me to watch (it is very hard sometimes!) But tonight's game is going to be GREAT!! Farve vs. Romo. I just can't wait until tonight!! There is other stuff going on later tonight so the Tivo will be running, I just can't wait to see how this match up turns out, for everyone....Go Packers, I mean, Go Cowboys, I mean Go Packers....ARRGGG! Who can just pull for one of these teams? Not me!! I can yell for them BOTH!! I'm just glad that we have DISH network so that we can see the game tonight...are there anymore Cowboys fans out there?

Here are some pictures that I took from her little program on Thursday night. These are of Sus and one of her best buddies, MB. She loves MB sooo much and then there are times that they fight like sisters....oh, so funny. I took some with her on the stage during the program, but I was also holding Parker, so they were terrible. Aaron was doing the video, so at least we have that!! Tomorrow we are all going to the zoo. Well, except for Grace, she has school. Our district doesn't get out until Tuesday afternoon, while the other districts in our surrounding area got out on Friday. Oh well, no big. We'll leave for Searcy after school on Tuesday...Every morning for the past week, Sus has woken up saying this, "Is it time to go to your mom's house today so that I can see my Aunt Jess?" I wonder if she wants to see anyone other than Aunt Jess??? It will be fun and we'll all drive to Missouri on Thursday to be with my Dad's side of the family which is always an adventure! See you there Kathy (and the rest of the family!)

After the program, we went to her little classroom and she tried on all of her pilgrim and indian stuff. Cute for a little spotted girl! We think we figured out the allergy...I cleaned the couch last week with some upholstery cleaner and that is the couch that Sus sits on every morning for her milk and Sesame Street. We will see tomorrow morning what happens because we cleaned the couch like crazy today....

Frustrated!!!!

AKKKKKK! In the past 24 hours, I have received 3 phone calls from creditors wanting money. Do they want it from me? No, they want it from another Jennifer Green, but do they call her and harass her? Nope. I had one call from a lawyer (or more like his little person designated to call and be ugly on the phone) who would not believe that I was who I said I was until I asked for his boss and then confirmed that this other Jennifer Green lives in Missouri, which is one state that we have never lived in!!! I am not giving these people my social security number over the phone, but I will not be bullied into paying for something that I have NOT done. Yesterday, the credit card company called for me. I called them back from a number that I have on file, only to find out that yet again, this is a Jennifer S. Green and S. is not my middle initial. I have worked very hard to pay all of our bills on time over the past 9 years and we ALWAYS, and I repeat ALWAYS pay off our credit card bill each month.....Oh, I'm so very frustrated, I can't even tell you!!! I'm getting my credit report pulled as I type, so maybe I can get some of this stuff cleared up!!

On a lighter note, last night was Susannah's fall school program and she did a great job! She sang so great and knew all of her little hand motions. Oh, did I tell you that her little body is fighting off a allergic reaction right now...yeah, we didn't know that any of our kids were allergic to anything, but I guess she is....her little body is covered (and I mean that) with little whelps...it is sooo sad. She is on a steroid from the doctor, but it doesn't seem to be kicking it, so we may be back at his office again later today for another shot!! I'll post pics from the program later today!! Crazy little boy!

I know, I blogged about Parker not long ago and how he was getting into everything....oh, how I spoke too soon!! At 16 1/2 months, he now has all of his teeth, yes, he has 16 teeth and is not afraid to use them on his sister, Susie. He has never bitten anyone else (thank goodness!) but somehow he has picked Susie out for his target. I'm not saying he is a biter...he has only bitten her 3 times, but to me that is 3 times too many! So, we are addressing the problem....

Everyday, about 5:15-5:30 he goes to the front door and watches for Daddy. I don't even have to open the door, he comes and gets me to open it so that he can watch. Aaron has been in OKC since Monday and Parker is about to go crazy!! He walks around the house going, "Dad? Dad?" as he has his little hands up, like, "where is he?" Thankfully, Daddy will be home this evening about the time that Parker will be wanting to go to the front door and I'm so very glad!

Okay folks, we have a climber on our hands. Yes, this is our piano that he is climbing on here. I had the Halloween candy bags on top of the piano (they looked cute up there, all displayed for the holiday) and he climbed up there to get some candy...what a smart kid, right? He has also learned how to climb up on Susie's bunkbed all by himself, so I now have to keep her bedroom door shut except if I'm in the room. Crazy kid....so very much fun!!!

What is funny is that we thought that Grace was playing the piano because of his feet on the piano keys....the next day, after I had moved the halloween bags, he climbed up here to take one of the crosses off the wall....silly kid! I love this little one sooo much and am so thankful for my little monkey!
