Doesn't he look so proud and very excited?
Aaron came home early yesterday from work with his new copy of Halo 3. What the boy didn't tell me was that he bought the "Legendary Edition" of Halo 3. You may be asking yourself, what is the Legendary Edition and why didn't he just buy the video game? Yes, that is the question that I am asking as well, but to his credit, HE SAYS that he thought he was only buying the next step up from the video game (it comes with an extra DVD about the game or something) but instead, he came home with this HUGE box. I promise, when I went to let him in the front door, (he couldn't open it by himself because his hands were too full) I really thought he had bought a new X-box 360 to go with the video game because the box was so very big for just a video game. Oh, silly me.
The "Legendary Edition" comes with a helmet, yes, a helmet, just like the guys on Halo wear. And where is Aaron's new Halo helmet today? (I know you really want to know....) The boy took it to his office to proudly display in his little bookshelf beside his desk. Oh, I love him so much!! Isn't he just a hoot? When we were dating, we would always go to the mall and stop at the arcade for him to play "Street Fighter." I really enjoyed watching him play although I have no video game skills WHATSOEVER!! Well, I can play Mario Kart pretty good, but that is about it for me on the video game scene. What I love the most? Seeing Aaron have fun and doing something that he really enjoys. That makes me smile and he FOR SURE, makes me smile, EVERY day!!
I love this boy!!!

Now when he starts bringing home Prosches unannounced is when you will have to revoke the "asking forgiveness is easier than asking for permission rule". When Tim started looking at new airplanes, I told him that he had used that rule for the last time in his life and he COULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE IT AGAIN!
Boys and thier toys?!?
I hope his helmet went right next to the photo of his loving family.
I guess we know what Aaron will be up to for a while... with short breaks for football games.
Jenn, you're the legendary edition!!!
Love and silly boys,
it actually makes me feel better about nate's little 'world of warcraft' hobby.
The guys are so funny! Ron is a much happier boy today than he was yesterday when he was sitting around licking his "my x-box is broken" wounds!
Hey, I'm happy too that they have a hobby that includes other Christian men. We are blessed to have husbands who love us, love their kiddos, and would rather be at home than anywhere else! God is good!
love ya,
steph
Hey Jen, does Aaron still have Xbox live? I lost him on my list. Have him email me his gamertag.
