It snowed yesterday so Grace and Aaron enjoyed a day off from school and work. I know, it doesn't look like any "real snow" but there was a thin layer of ice under it so it made the roads pretty slick for all us Texans.
Aaron, Parker and I went back to bed and the girls watched TV for a little while. When I woke up, Aaron had taken Grace outside to play. She dressed herself and her daddy let her go outside without a coat because she (the 5 year old) told him that she didn't need one because she had on 3 shirts. Pretty funny. Susannah stayed inside because she was trying on all the new dresses that we got out of Grace's hand-me-down to Susie box. She was very excited to get some new clothes!

Of course a 5 year old knows just what she needs to wear...if she gets too cold, she'll come in and get another shirt, if she gets too hot, she'll just take one off, then mom will get to deal with the consequences of colds and stuffy noses and washing all those clothes! Nice new TV by the way...Looks like Aaron is going to have lots of fun. Anad about the carrots...Caden, April (Gillespie) Emerson's baby who is now a little over a year old has an orange nose becaus he loves carrots so much. Aaron will love having an orange nosed boy...he won't have to put as many orange clothes on him at game time!
