Here in Graham we are town hosts to a Texas collegiate league baseball team, called the Roughnecks (for those of you who do not know what a roughneck is, it is another name for a person who works in the "rough" part of the oil industry, on the rigs...they work really hard and get really dirty)...since we are in the middle of oil country, our baseball team is called the Roughnecks. This is the 3rd season of the Texas Collegiate league and our team isn't that bad. The boys that play on the teams are from different universities around, but mostly Texas. There is a boy on our team from Harding, but he is a pitcher so we haven't seen him play much...he always seems to pitch on away games. We got some free tickets from a friend at church and took the kids out to the game last night. They had so much fun running around with their friends, dancing and of course, eating. Being here in Texas is the greatest...the baseball games are catered by Big boys Bar-b-que and it is GREAT! I had a wonderful chopped brisket sandwich for dinner last night and tomorrow night at the game, I'm going to have the pork. I love bar-b-que! Here are some pictures from the game. By the way, the mascot is played by a boy in our youth group at church...I wouldn't just let any old mascot hold my new baby.

Here is Grace really getting into the music inbetween innings....she was just dancing in her own little world!

Sus kept climbing on the rails...So much for watching the game...

Grace wanted to have her picture made with "G.O. Roughneck" of course she knew that Brady McCool was inside, so she wasn't scared at all...you can see Susannah in the background and she was having nothing to do with that thing...I think she thought that it ate up Brady. The kids also got to run the bases at the top of the 5th inning...Grace chickened out and didn't step on the field and Susannah ran the bases like a pro. Of course, Aaron had the camera and Parker so he forgot to take pictures...we'll get some tomorrow night.

I'm so glad to see your kids happy with that character. I had a little boy in the lst couple of weeks who was 8 years old and scared to death of adults in costumes and they were planning trip to Disney World...therefore the visits to me...he's there now and I am wondering about how he is doing...they only gave me two weeks to work with him so I had him come in two times each week...the very last day I had a friend who is a professional clown come in and visit with him and get dressed and undressed in front of him (breaking the clown code, but all for a good cause). My client didnd't freak out so that's a good sign and before the clown left, my client was gathering up all his extra balloons and fiam rubber noses and stickers and stuffing them in his pockets...that's a good sign, too. I sure pray that he's making it at Disney World! I told him to keep saying to himself everytime he saw someone in costume to say to himself, "That's just a regular adult in that costume and they're here to make me laugh." Just pray with me that it works!
The pictures are so cute. Did you get all the million pictures that I sent you?
love you.
I can tell you have a new baby...I miss seeing new photos every other day or so! Hope all is well!
