Wednesdays

I love Wednesdays. Not because they are the midpoint of the week and not because it's church night (which is nice and I enjoy), but mainly because Wednesday is the day that my husband comes home!!! Yes, I'm sooo excited! I know, he has only been gone for a week and normally he is gone for two, but I just miss him and I'm so thankful that he gets to come home even if it is for one week. So, next Wednesday, I won't like Wednesdays because he will be leaving for two weeks. I'm so fickle.
Grace could hardly go to sleep tonight because she is so excited. She kept saying, " I have to got to bed because tomorrow is a special day!" When I was putting Susannah to bed, I said, "we have to go nite-nite because Daddy comes home tomorrow." I almost dropped her because she squealed so loud and jumped up! It was so cute. I know that they miss him when he is gone, but it makes it so much better when he comes home. They sure do love their daddy (and I do, too!) I'm off to finish the laundry so the house will be super clean when he gets back!
