Too much!!

Last night Grace had softball practice. Did I mention that the fields here in Katy are 35 minutes from our house?? EGGG! Sometimes I dread softball practice so much on Tuesday and Thursdays. We rush home from school, get a snack, race though their homework and then run out the door to get in the car. I do enjoy the 35 minutes in the car because the kids usually take a nap and I get some quiet time, but it's the rushing around part that gets my goose every time!!

Once we get out to practice, it's great. The weather has been unbelievable! Everyone told us that Houston was going to be so hot and humid. To tell the truth...I like it. Actually, I love it! We've had some great breezes the past 2 weeks on practice nights and I love watching Grace do something that she loves and is actually really good at...softball.

The practice is no stress...USUALLY. Most nights, we get out there and we are the only team practicing so Susannah and Parker can just run around and play. I love it.

Last night was a different story for a few reasons.

Parker runs up to me about 6:00..."MOMMY, I HAVE to POOP!" Let me tell you...those are not words you want to hear from your 3 year old when you are at fields where the bathrooms are LOCKED, yes LOCKED, during the week. And then he kept saying it. "Mommy, I have to POOOP!!" Realize...he is getting louder each time and there are stands full of mommies that are watching their kids practice, too.

So, what do you do?? I took him out behind a building that houses the locked bathrooms (uggh!) and I let him do his thing. Yes, I did. Lucky for me...I always have wipes and LOTS of hand sanitizer in my purse. So we took care of business and cleaned up our business. Children in this case, are just like dogs...You have to clean up your messes in public places. (I also had a wal-mart bag in my purse, how or why, I have no idea, but boy am I thankful!!)

Okay...I know...TMI...but then when we got back from that whole Parker situation, Susannah is standing on the bleaches yelling, "MOM!!" I run over...Yep.

She pulled her first tooth! She was so excited!!! So, we did 2 things for the first time. Out at the ballpark. Lovely, I know. But, it's something to remember, so I blog!!

Happy Loosing your first tooth, Susie Q! First you turn 6 years old and then the next day, you loose your first tooth!! What an exciting week! Now we need to go and spend all that money you got from your birthday and the tooth fairy....Whooo Hooo!!
