The new bed!! I'm so thankful for our new furniture and that Aaron decided that we needed something new and not me. It's always better when it is his idea!! he he he. You can click on the picture to see them better and close up, as always!

We finally have enough storage for all of our clothes!! Yippe! Now I'm off to fill up my new dresser with my clothes that are all stuffed in my closet! This is Aaron (he looks like he really wanted to be in this picture doesn't he?) on our old bed....Aaron built the headboard many many years ago and it was showing it's age!
This is my old dresser from Goodwill....you can see how the drawers fall out when you pull on them...you have to watch your toes, for sure!! Good bye, old and warped mirror...I won't miss you one little bit!!
These are little bearings that would fall out each time that we moved the dresser...I found these last night when we moved the dresser to the garage. Now we just have to borrow a truck and haul the old stuff off to goodwill for someone else to use for a few years!

I'm so excited for you! It looks beautiful! I hope you are having a wonderful time filling all your new stuff! Mike and I will be doing the same for the first time in our married life too as soon as we get our room finished. I can't wait and seeing yours just made me that much more excited about it!
Jen forgot to mention one thing... All this new furniture comes with a promise to keep the room and closet clean. No more dirty (or clean!) laundry piling up on the floor! Yepee for me!

Beautiful! I know you will enjoy it. Our bedroom is the only place that we have not bought new furniture for since we've been married. We have a hand me down dresser and night stand & no headboard! I do have a brand new awesome mattress though!

Your new furniture is beautiful, but one thing I want to know is did Aaron make you promise to keep all the clean laundry folded and put away BEFORE he bought the furniture or did you just learn about that part of the deal when he wrote his comment?
I am so excited for you. The furniture is beautiful! Reading your posts about play dates makes me think (just a tiny bit) that it would be great to live in a bigger town! Yay for t-ball...we are having a ball playing. It will be fun to watch them improve and know the game better each year. The girls are on the same team this year which is fun...everyone thinks they are twins! Heehee!
