Okay, remember how I had blogged that I don't like mornings? Well, here is my update! I have another reason to start getting up and enjoy my mornings. Wellness Wednesdays and Fitness Fridays!! At Grace's school, the kids can come to school at 7:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays and run the designated "track." Every time they run a lap, they get a little craft stick (they aren't running with big sticks, I promise!) and at the end they get recorded on paper how many laps they run (or walk, a lot of them walk.) It's a great way for the kids to start their day and now I'm volunteering at the school to help record the miles (or sticks) that the kids have run. So, to report on the person who does NOT enjoy the mornings....I'm getting better! I think Grace likes showing me off, too. Not to brag, you know!! I don't get to volunteer too much at her school because I can't lug 2 other little ones up there with me during the day. However, I can go in the mornings BEFORE school, while the 2 little ones and their daddy are still asleep. Aaron gets a little sleeping in time and I get to experience quiet morning time with Grace. She kept telling her friends, "That's my mom"...Oh, I love being a mom and I love that girl. She is feisty and stubborn, but I love that girl!! Too bad she isn't like me...he he he. My mom is laughing out loud right now, I know, because Grace is JUST like me in those ways!! Here are some pictures that I took last night of Aaron with the kids.
This time Aaron is watching Parker...If you click on the picture, you will see that his cute little feet are covered in dirt. He kept wiping them off and then telling us to sit on the swing with him. Aaron and the kids jump on the trampoline every night while I am finishing up dinner. This year the trampoline has been one of our best investments. The kids get exercise and lots of daddy time!!

It's so great that you can have special one-on-one time with Grace. She'll remember it forever.
You always amaze me, Jen! All of your energy and everything that you volunteer for just amaze me! I wish that I had some of that energy! I hope that Easton does not see the trampoline pics because he has been upset ever since we moved that we left the trampoline at our old house.
Fun! That last picture is adorable!!
uh oh...Shane found the post Jen. lol! You will have to read his comment.
What a compliment to get an invitation from Greg Lang! You do have a wonderful family and you are a wonderful mom. You should have lots to add to his books.
You're kids are so precious! Never thought I'd long for the days when mine were little again, but sometimes when I read your blog, I do. Can't believe I said that!
I am so not a morning person either! That's cool that they are doing that on Wednesday's & Fridays!
I'm right with you on not being a morning person! Kudos to you for spending this special time with Grace.
I am SO not a morning person! I wish that our school would start doing this, though! That's an awesome idea!
