more pics...

Aaron carried Parker on his back for the whole long hike on Saturday. I still can't believe that Parker didn't revolt and want out after so many hours. I kept asking Aaron if he wanted me to carry Parker, but he is a great husband and wouldn't let me take over. Of course, now that I know that Parker weighs 27 pounds (we had his 15 month well baby check up today...75-90% for everything...height, weight and head cer.) I'm glad that I didn't have to put that pack on my back! Parker slept for a good 2 hours of the hike and that is a great thing!!
Aaron and Parker in their matching Old Navy shirts (this picture is for you, dear cousin Bobby!)...Parker really did enjoy being outside and playing in the dirt the most!!
On Sunday morning, we had a little church service and all the kids sat on this log (Aaron tried to get Park to sit, but that didn't last long.) One of the dads told a story while the kids were supposed to be closing their eyes...I think some of the kids started to fall asleep! It was really cute and they all listened very well. After their story and "part" we let them all play while we had an "adult" time of worship. It was so nice. There were 17 kids all together so it was nice to see them all just sitting and listening for that long of a time...God is great!
After we got everything all packed up to go home, we took one last hike up Baldy Mt. It is a great hike that is so very easy and has lots of big rocks for the kids to climb on...they LOVED it. It was very windy at the top, as you can see from the hair, but the kids loved it just the same. Aaron stayed at the bottom with Parker and let him wander around. We found rattlesnake #2 on this hike, it was sleeping when we went by the first time and was still asleep when we came back by to go home...thank goodness!! Yikes! I so do NOT like those crawly things! The great thing about this camping trip is that one of our friends who went is a doctor, so if anything did happen, at least we have the great Dr. Steve there to let us know how to fix it up!! We had a fun time, but next year, I think we need a little bit cooler weather to keep all the snakes in their homes so my tummy doesn't worry so much about my 4 year old finding a snake!!!

Ha ha ha - I ALWAYS choose the backpack and baby so that it's Jeff's job to chase after the other 3 ! (-:
