Ya'll are the best...thanks so much for the comments. Actually, I felt so much better after I wrote the post. I still thought about it, but it didn't really bother me anymore. Sometimes just writing about something and then even more, praying about something makes things so much better. The weather here was absolutely beautiful yesterday so after dinner, we all went on a long walk and took the kids to the park. Grace and I had a long talk about finding the good in everything and about the movie Pollyanna. That has still got to be one of my very favorite movies, to this day. I told her all about the movie and then we talked about finding the good in our walk and our talk at school and with others. It was GREAT! I'm so glad that we had that beautiful weather as our backdrop for a nice conversation. Now I am going to find that movie and buy it, every little kid needs to see that movie and look for the best in every situation.
Also, she came home from school talking about 2 little girls and was so excited about playing with them on the playground. You are right, Dallas, she is meeting lots of new people and making new friends...I'm soooo thankful. Rushton, Grace is a little tomboy too, sometimes...her closest friend at church is a boy, if they didn't fight so much (I think they really like each other) they would get along even better! I am soo very thankful for all of ya'll and the fact that ya'll read all my rants and still comment and give me great advice!
Grace popped out of bed this morning when her alarm went off and got ready for school like a little bouncy ball. She was in a wonderful mood (unlike her mother in the mornings before coffee) and put on her new "skinny" jeans. She wanted me to take this picture to show you, Aunt Jess just how fashionable she looks. Of course, she put on her little sweater because she said it was chilly in their room yesterday...I don't know how people wear those jeans! They are so tight around the legs, it is like denim stretch pants! I think the lens on my camera must be dirty...my pics all have a fog around them and blogger is aligning all my words to the center. Here are Grace's words before she left for school (after she hugs me)
"Mom, I'm going to have a GA today!"
Me, "Okay, I give up, what is GA?"
Grace, "Great Attitude! I love you, Mom!"
Now that's MY Grace!

How wonderful!
Precious girl! ced Precious Mommy! No, I'm not a bit prejudice.
oops, don't know how that little typo got in that spot!
Lucky girl to be able to wear skinny jeans! I will NEVER get to wear those.
I'm glad she had a good day! You too.
Oh, I love Pollyanna too. The "Glad Game" is the best.
Grace looks so cute in skinny jeans. I could never wear those - my size 11 feet look like 22's when I wear anything closed off at the ankle like that. haha
Aunt Jess is right...I wish I had someone in my family to dress me so I looked my best all the time! Grace looks adorable and I bet everyday is a GA day for her!

She looks adorable! I wish I could wear jeans like that!
It would be difficult to watch your child struggle with making new friends, as you discussed in your previous post.
As you know, we are headed back to Searcy next year, and the thought of Laura leaving her dearest friends in Knoxville and having to make new ones in Searcy is almost too much for me to think about.
I know, I know. She's just 3 and will make new friends quickly. But she certainly will miss her friends in Tennessee - the first friends she has ever know.
As for Grace, let her love big. Be proud of that. Keep encouraging that. While it some times may lead to hurt and misunderstanding, loving big is something we all should do more of.
I am a little late on this one..our computer has been down. Do you want to know something So Funny?? I just bought my first pair of skinny jeans the other day & I love them! What a fashionist....as Grace would say!
I love you.
