Finished!

Aaron finished our swing Saturday morning and it is great! The kids played on it and when they went to bed, Aaron and I went out (with Parker) and enjoyed some quiet time in the moonlight together. I think we are really going to enjoy it being out in the yard. I know, the swing seat isn't white like the frame, but that is because Aaron bought me the swing seat part last year for Valentine's Day when we lived in Graham and we had it hung under our balcony and didn't need a frame. Another reason is that the seat is made of cedar and I am not going to paint a beautiful wood like that with white paint. My swing is just going to be different and not match and that is fine by me!! I'm just happy to have something to sit on the the backyard while the kids play.
Parker found Daisy's doggie door this weekend. He kept pushing it back and forth and trying to get his head through...not going to happy little one....he can try anyway. For now, he is happy trying to eat the dried grass that Daisy brings in on her fur...yuck!
Grace was being a little too quiet in my bathroom on Saturday. When I went to get her, she wasn't in the bathroom, she was in my closet and wearing my old TNT queen jersey. She was so proud of herself for finding it and putting it on. That night she slept in it and said that she slept like a queen! Maybe it will make more sense to her when she actually gets to Harding and figures out what a club queen does! For now, I'm just glad she is having fun and someone is wearing my beloved shirt from college!

Had to giggle at your comment about Scott's "hair" and knitting some for your dad. Part of Scott's head is bald by choice. The last time I saw your mom and dad, Scott still had flowing blond locks and your dad had that full head of nearly black hair. I didn't know that bald man in your blog pics a few months ago! But your mom looks just the same as 20 years back!

The swing looks AWESOME! And I'm so glad that you guys are having the opportunity to enjoy it! I have to say I think that little queen of yours would look good in pink and green too :) Now there's a pic I would love to see. I don't think I even have an extra jersey anymore. We had our jerseys and function t-shirts made into a t-shirt quilt and it's been so worth it! We're definitely getting more use out of them that way too!

Your house is all coming together very nicely! Once when Joe(y) was wearing hus dad's Sub T shirt in a store some other Sub-T person came up to him and started asking him all sorts of questions that ony Sub=t's should know. He was quite surprised when Joe knew some of them. It was pretty funny!
