Well, it is over...I'm so tired, but we got the carnival done!! The kids had such a great time and I'm so glad that I was a part of this fun event. The high school kids all showed up to run their booths and did a great job!!! The smaller ones just loved being there and having fun with their church friends. Here is our family photo from the event. I think you can tell who we all are this year. Of course, Grace decided to not join the family and be Madeline (the little french girl, it's a book and a movie. We finally got the movie and Grace looks JUST like the little girl who plays Madeline!)

Our friend, Brian Hodnett, so wonderfully was the object of affection for the pie throw. Susie didn't know what to think of this at first (she LOVES Mr. Brian) but when she saw that he was laughing and having fun, she decided to try it, too!!

So cute! I'm glad that you guys did your carnival early so your kids wouldn't have to miss it! I remember Halloween as being such a fun time when you could dress up and be anything you dreamed of being...all this stuff about it being an evil holiday (and i guess it can be made to be one if you desire to do that to it) really gets my goat!
