Well, we are home. After 4 days in the hospital, we are home. I feel like I have been in a time wharp. There is nothing like packing for an overnight trip and having to stay for much longer. The staff at the hospital were great. I really did have an enjoyable birth process (that sounds so formal), but the recovery is going to be a booger!! I never thought that c-sections were that bad...oh, I apologize, I was SOOOO WRONG! The incision across my bikini line will heal, I know, I just have a hard time sitting for any amount of time, especially for this long. I'm so thankful that I have a great husband that is taking such great care of me. Aaron has gone above and beyond his duties and I'm forever thankful. My mom is the best. I don't know how people do this kind of thing without family. The girls have had more fun in the past few days with my mom and my sister than the whole year, I think! I'm just so thankful that God has blessed us with such great families...Aaron's parents will be here soon, too and the fun is going to keep on going on!
Anyway, things are progressing. I didn't try to answer the phone tonight when it rang and no one else could get it, I just sat and held my new baby boy. Whom, by the way, is just the sweetest little bundle. I love being a mommy.
