The little monkey

The rehearsal for Grace's ballet/tap recital was yesterday. Up until yesterday, Grace wouldn't show us but little pieces of their show. It is just so cute!! Of course, they are dressed up like little monkeys and are just darling...I smiled (and laughed) thru the whole thing. They just were having so much fun. Not one of them was nervous, they all just smiled and danced away. The only thing that got me was the make-up! Yes, they are 4 years old, but they had to wear make-up. This is quite a challenge for the mom who only wears make-up on holidays and sometimes on Sundays. How do you put make-up on 4 year olds, they have perfect skin!! So, we just put on mascara, blush and lipstick. There were some girls there that looked like little pagent girls, complete with the glitter all over their arms and legs. We are new to this show stuff, but, WOW, some of these kids look like pros and it's scary!!
Oh, I'm listening to Jack Johnson and friends, the soundtrack from Curious George....if you haven't heard it yet, it is a keeper...I think I like it more than the girls!
